How it works

Three steps from a fresh page to a search engine notification.

1 · Add your site

Enter your domain. We generate a 32-character IndexNow key and show the exact file to upload: https://yourdomain.com/<key>.txt. It must return the key as plain text.

2 · Verify and discover

We fetch your key file to prove you control the domain. Then we read robots.txt and the common sitemap paths, follow nested sitemap indexes, and clean tracking parameters and duplicates.

3 · Submit and read the answer

URLs go to the IndexNow endpoint in batches. We retry on 429/5xx with backoff and store the engine's answer for every URL, so you can see exactly what happened.

Frequently asked

Does submitting guarantee indexing?

No. IndexNow notifies participating engines that a URL changed; the engine still decides whether to crawl and index it. What we guarantee is delivery and a truthful status log.

What does a rate limit mean?

If an engine answers 429 we back off and retry. If it still refuses, those URLs are marked as failed and are not charged against your quota.

Do you need my Search Console?

No. IndexNow verification is a plain text file at your domain root. We never ask for Google or Bing account access.

Why is there a cooldown between submissions?

Because IndexNow is a ping, not a crawl. A large run and a fast repeat run of the same host is exactly what engines throttle — and the host they throttle is yours. So we pace it: 60 seconds between submissions, 20 submissions an hour, and URLs already accepted in the last 7 days are skipped unless you tick "Send again anyway". The dashboard shows the countdown. It protects your domain; it is not something you can buy away.

Why do some engines answer 403 or 422?

Yandex, Seznam and Yep re-read your key file when they receive a ping. If the file is not reachable (wrong path, blocked by a firewall, or not live yet) they refuse the URL. Bing usually answers 202 first and validates later. Fix the key file, press "Check now", and submit again.
